On Monday April 30th, at 1748 hours, Engine 21 was dispatched to Grant Dr in Wormleysburg as part of the first alarm for a house fire. Chief 1 arrived with heavy fire from the end unit of a row of townhouses. Engine 21 responded quickly, arriving on scene, securing hydrant for water supply. Several hand lines and our Blitzfire were pulled and utilized to knock down the bulk of the fire. Crews remained on scene for several hours.
Special thanks to members from Northeast Fire and Rescue for helping with getting Engine 21 back in service.
